Happy Drawing – Ed Emberley’s collection for Cloud9

I love Cloud9. They work with excellent illustrators and designers to produce quality collections of printed organic quilting weight cottons – they’re definitely a pioneer in the organic textile field, and they keep on upping their game!

Their about-to-be-released collection with Ed Emberley’s illustrations is just fabulous. It’s a great fabric collection for girls and boys (boy-fabrics can be tricky, right?), but a lot of the fabrics (especially the lions!) are pretty grown up too.

L-R: Frogs, Giraffe, Forest Friends, Scribbles – Orange, Lions

Not all of their collections are always available in Australia, but I’m thinking Happy Drawing has to be – it’s adorable. The illustrations are based on a book Ed Emberley originally published in 1970, and I reckon the designs have really stood the test of time!

You can see all the designs on the Cloud9 blog, and check out your closest Cloud9 stockist on their website, or check at your local fabric store!

Top to Bottom: Cobalt Blue, Sunshine Yellow and Red Bike Planters

So I’m going to put it out there that this might be the perfect gift for the outdoorsy eco-lover in your life. Bike Planters. Seriously. Amazing. These little planters by Wearable Planter are made with an emerging technology, 3D printing. And yet they’re for your bike, a seriously old-school (and eco-friendly) mode of transportation. I like it. And it’ll make bike-riding in the rain totally worth it too… yes?

If you don’t have a bike, you can grab some Wearable Planter jewellery instead. Plant lavender, and the world will always smell delightful!

Excellent styling, yes? Love these bags by Zaum. Sometimes it’s hard to find things to feature on Oh My Green – often I resort to a trusty Google search. Today’s keyword: organic purses.

Zaum use organic cotton to make their bags, and they use no animal products (it’s actually pretty tricky to find really stylish non-leather bags lately, ladies).

Zaum are based in the US, but I have to say, for organic, non-sweatshop purses, these prices are really great.
