Don’t you just love Obus? Their clothes are beautiful, they design & produce everything in Melbourne, and they stock the most beautiful accessories from great labels including Baggu (Baggu bags are made of recycled cotton!)
And, to make Obus just a teensy bit greater, their Wall Project supports local artists! Every 3 months a new artists comes and pretties up the front wall of the Flinders Lane Obus store – hooray!

The first wall was an installation created by Kristin McIver (see pics here). The current wall is being created yesterday and today by Dawn Tan, who’s a recent arts graduate and is just lovely. Really, she is lovely!

Dawn and her sister Zoe have been painting the most beautiful plants onto the wall – Obus already has a few potted plants inside, so this is perfect! Plus it’s bright and the opposite of dreary which is perfect for Melbourne winter-time.
I love this shelving at Obus – imagine if locker-rooms really looked this great!

If you’re in Melbourne you can pop in to Obus today to visit Dawn & Zoe as they finish the artwork, or go to the launch tomorrow (25th May) from 6 – 9pm!
Of course you can visit the wall any time over the next 3 months too.
Dawn is also having a stall with Harvest Textiles at Markit at Fed Square this Sunday (29th May), so pop along to that too!
